Yesterday, In the historic, old courthouse in downtown Leesburg, I formally announced my intention to seek a third term to the Virginia House of Delegates.
This old courthouse is a place that symbolizes two important things in my life: the rule of law and equal justice under the law and the ability to use our laws for the good of our Commonwealth and her citizens. In keeping of the spirit and tradition of this place, it has been my honor to serve the 81,000 people in Virginia 10th district, and I am honored to be the candidate of my party in seeking reelection to serve in the oldest legislature in the western hemisphere.
I am proud of the work I have done with the other members of the Virginia House of Delegates as we worked to strengthen our schools and build cost-effective, safe public roads that alleviate traffic congestion. We have strived to keep government small, lean, and limited with a commitment to supporting an environment for the creation of jobs by the private sector as well as protecting personal liberties. I look forward to continued opportunities to work together with the other members of the General Assembly to serve my constituents in the 10th District. When considering the “mathematics of politics” I believe in emphasizing addition and multiplication and not allow partisan differences to divide and subtract.

It has been an honor to serve you these past four years. I would like to continue my service, and therefore humbly ask for your support on November 3rd.
